Calendula is an ointment with particularly emollient, soothing and anti-inflammatory properties, especially useful in case of damaged, irritated, sensitive skin.
Marigold flowers, in fact, have soothing properties on irritations, or burns, and speed up the healing process of the skin helping it to regenerate.
Apply on desired area with circular movements massaging gently until completely absorbed.
Also suitable for lip care.
Calendula flowers are composed of yellow and orange flower heads... and the stem can be even 50 cm tall!
The flowering of this plant takes place in late spring and lasts until late autumn. In nature we can find about 30 different species of Marigold, but the one used in our ointment is the Calendula Arvensis, so called because it grows completely wild, in the hills of the Cilento National Park, in south of Italy, only when and where conditions allow it!
